Interesting review. More medical history reviews would be much appreciated.

Tim Grady's review of Jews and Germans of Hamburg does justice to the scholarly subtleties of the work of Grenville, whose death last year was a grievous loss. There is, however, on major error in the review (para. 3). 230,000 is the total number of German Jews, not only those of Hamburg, who succeeded in emigrating during the Nazi years.

Yes I agree. I have been asked to do a medical history book review but you will have to wait until June.

There was a rather nice review of Sam Alberti's Morbid Curiosities by Jennifer Wallis on here recently
